Spread Your Arms
By: Aaron Lopez

The sky is looking at me once again. The
moonlight shining on my pale face. Soft fluffy
clouds are waiting for me. I'm walking to the
nearest mountain. Spread your arms they said,
and I did. I'm falling down. The giant void of air
rushing on my face. The feeling of stiffness? I'm
flying. I soar through the air and ascend to the
clouds. I can hear everything, the lightning, the
rain, and even the storms. Suddenly, I feel I have
no longer balance. I'm falling down. What
happened? I was flying. I'm falling in the void
once again. I'm gonna hit the ground. I'm gonna hit
the ground. I hit the ground. I wake up as well. It
was a dream. A free dream, and I'm thankful for it.
