In Search of Color
By: Fatima Hernandez, Bryan Lopez,

Looking up at the colored leaves,
I take out my vintage dark green bag,
and pull out a box filled with paint.
I look at the water as the trees face it.
Shimmering.
I lay on the floor near the calming orange trees
thinking what I'll do.
Who knows what I’ll paint on this day?
I close my eyes hearing the leaves falling
and the water moving.
I take a look around me.
So soothing.
Looking up at the colored leaves,
wondering if life will get color again.
Life can change.
Life can change
in many different and great ways.
